Abstract
Date palm cultivation is vital to agriculture in arid regions, but essential tasks like pollination, pruning, pesticide application, and harvesting remain labor-intensive, hazardous, and inefficient. While mechanized solutions exist, they are costly, complex, and less adaptable, making traditional manual methods still widely used. This study presents the Multi-Task Robot for Date Palm Crops, designed and visualized using SolidWorks CAD modeling to automate key farming tasks. The robotic system integrates mechanical components and task-specific tools optimized for precision and adaptability. While real-world implementation and functional simulations were not conducted, CAD-based visualization demonstrates design feasibility. Future work will focus on performance validation through simulations and prototyping. The proposed system aims to enhance efficiency, reduce labor dependency, and improve safety, offering a scalable and cost-effective alternative to existing mechanized and manual methods.
