Abstract

Nanotechnology in coolant systems represents a quantum leap in sustainable machining practices. Nano coolants, engineered by dispersing nanoparticles into base fluids, exhibit superior thermal conductivity, reduced friction, and enhanced heat dissipation. This study highlights the significant advantages of nano coolants in machining processes, demonstrating improved tool life, higher energy efficiency, and a lower environmental footprint. Comparative assessments reveal that nano coolants outperform conventional coolants by offering enhanced cooling efficiency and lubrication, leading to optimized machining performance. The findings suggest that nano coolants have the potential to revolutionize future production systems by fostering eco-friendly and costeffective manufacturing practices.
